Ear protection

I'm looking for those electronic hearing protection that let you catch normal conversations but still block out those loud bangs. Anyone got any good recommendations?

Using Howard Leight, friendly on the budget but still gets the job done.

I've had luck with Peltor Sport, though it's quite expensive. But one thing I like about it is it adapts to different gun calibers.
