Lever gun sling recos

Been using a Marlin 1895 SBL for my bear adventures, and I really love it. But I'm having a hard time finding a sling setup that doesn’t get tangled up in the thick brush. I've experimented with a few padded slings and even tried a chest rig, but nothing feels just right.

I'm curious, what sling systems are y'all using for your lever guns?

If I had to choose a setup for tackling some really dense terrain, I’d definitely go for a lightweight sling with a QD mount. Just a little DIY tweaking to keep it quiet and snag-free, and I'd be all set.

I usually avoid chest rigs for my lever guns, unless I’m really out in the backcountry and need some extra gear up front. When I’m dealing with thick brush, I like to keep the sling short and tight. Less swing means less chance of snagging on branches or anything else that might get in the way. Having a solid set of quick-detach swivels is a lifesaver. It’s nice to know I can pop everything off in a hurry if I need to.
