So, I've been digging into the whole binary trigger thing lately. I'm a bit of a newbie here in Alaska, and I just want to play it safe. I think it's super important to know what's allowed and what's not, especially with all the nuances in gun laws.

I came from a place where things were pretty straightforward, but I've heard mixed opinions about binary triggers. Some say they're legal, while others throw around the term 'unsafe' and start talking about regulations.

I want to get into some serious shooting practice, and those triggers seem like they would be a fun addition. Has anyone figured this out, or know where I can find some solid resources? Just looking for some clarity without getting too deep into the legal weeds. What's the word from the locals?

Some are legal to own, however they "MIGHT" not be legal for hunting. If a company like Franklin Armory is still selling them and have been for years theirs must be legal or BATF&E would have closed them down.

If you need it, I will address the safety issue.

I "Strongly" suggest purchasing only "NEW". There was a company that BATF&E force closing. But that was years ago. You would not what to purchase a "USED" trigger made by that company.

Franklin makes then for many different firearms, including RUGER 10/22

I have some but they are for firearms I rarely ever shoot. Ammo gets expensive when there are (2) Two discharges for one trigger pull.

Very-very-very where in Majestic Alaska are you....??? Just generally....??
