I’ve been debating a few different calibers for my moose and grizzly hunt. The 9.3 x 62 is definitely intriguing but I’m wondering if it’s a caliber that hunters really trust or if it’s just a little too niche for the average outdoorsman.

The 9.3x62 is definitely great for hunting moose and bears. But in North America, it’s not as common which leads to fewer ammo options and higher prices. If you’re into handloading, it’s a great choice. But if you prefer something more simple, you might want to consider the 338 Win Mag or 375 H&H for better logistics.
