Using a quality binoculars

I had been using cheap binoculars from a sporting goods chain and never really questioned it. Then I borrowed a high quality pair on a mule deer hunt and it honestly felt like I had been looking through wax paper the entire time before that. Glassing is hunting. I did not fully understand that until I saw the difference. So good glass matters more than a better rifle in most hunting situations.

Trust me, using cheap binoculars is like paying a tax on your eyes and your patience. Good glass turns just spotting into actually seeing things clearly and out in the field, that's what truly makes a difference.

Yeah, getting some good optics really changed the game for me too. You don't realize how much you've been missing until you actually see the difference. After that, it's pretty tough to go back.
