What Happened to Your First Handgun? Share Your Story!

I'm curious, what was your first handgun? Do you still have it today, or did you part ways? I'd love to hear your stories—maybe it was a sentimental piece or something you regretted buying. Feel free to share any photos too!

My first handgun was a Colt .38 Spl. police special. It burned in a house fire shortly after my parents were married. The grips were carved by my great-grandfather. It was stolen when a thief broke into my home.

Those carved grips must have been awesome.

My first gun was a Ruger P89, bought it back in '99. Still have it, but the trigger got mushy over the years.

I keep it in the safe for memories and shoot it maybe once a year with 147 grain hollow points.
