What is your favorite species of fish to catch (not same as favorite to eat).

Mine is Grayling as well. We will keep two for lunch or dinner and they need to be cooked shortly after catching. A campfire, aluminum foil and your favorite seasoning and it’s perfect. A four pound fly rod and you’ll think you have a monster!

I think I like Grayling most because of all of the remote lakes and streams have them, and those remote locations are where I want to fish. You’ll never find me on the banks of the Russian. Been there, done that, and hated the crowd.

Ling Cod, any cod really, smoked then poached and served with creamed peas and boiled potatoes. It makes me happiest to catch because it is my favorite to eat.

I've always loved hooking into smallmouth bass, pound for pound, they fight like crazy and never quit. Doesn't matter if it's a lake or river, they put up a show

I have to say, coho salmon are my favorite. They hit hard when you hook them, and the way they leap out of the water is just wild. There's something so exciting about fishing for them, especially when they're fresh and lively in the rivers
