What are your favorite spots to go off-roading to access locations to hunt and fish? Pretty much everyone who hunts or fishes in the interior off-road. Since I live in Glacier View, I know the good spots along the Glenn. The Knobb Lake area is a personal favorite for fishing. Taking the trails with a side by side and you will find very productive lakes. Lots of good trails in the Eureka area as well.
The Denali Highway also has numerous trails for hunting and fishing. I have spent most of my time hunting and fishing on the western side of the Susitna River with the exception of the Clearwater Creek and Tangle Lakes area. I've not had a lot of luck by the bridge of Clearwater Creek. Anyone find luck going up or down stream from the bridge? On the western side, most every large stream or river produces.
Any favorite locations?
