I asked my buddy why he had three pistols in his range bag. He said "one to shoot, one to compare and one in case the first one goes down." I respect the logic!

Bringing two rifles is smart planning. I usually do the same, since one always seems to jam right when I’m trying to impress a buddy. Taking three along, that’s a whole other level of readiness. Gotta respect that.
